The longer platform featured on Model 289 makes it possible to transport long or large equipment, or an array of components on one cart. Special independent leg releases work individually so that the person does not have to support all the weight when loading and unloading the vehicle. When Model 289 is unloaded from the vehicle, the legs lock automatically.
The loading wheel section on the Model 289 telescopes, making it easy to load and unload from vehicles with long entry distances (vans or pickups). Great for large loads weighing up to 300 lbs.
The cart is constructed of rectangular aluminum tubing for maximum strength and exceptional light weight. Like the Stairclimber, Model 289 rolls easily into and out of station wagons, trucks, vans, and mini-vans, while the equipment remains secured to the platform.
